Blakeley went to Nursery!

Sunday was the day. It was time to take Blakeley to Nursery and I was very nervous because she really hasn't been left alone with other children that weren't family or her babysitting buddy Gambel. So we got all geared up and I had Rob take her in. She was a little clingy to him at first but he found her a toy she liked and just stayed close for a minute. Then he told her he was going to go and to give him a kiss. She gave her daddy and kiss and let him leave with no trouble! WHAT! So Rob came by the Primary room and gave me the thumbs up that all was well, thank heavens cause I was sweatin' because I could hear a little girl in there crying and I thought it was her.
The Nursery kids come in for singing time after the Primary has gone to class so I was worried she would come in and see me and not want to go back. So she comes walking in with the Nursery and spots me and she comes running over to me and so we sit down for singing time. When it is all over I put her down and tell her she has to go back with her class now. She gives me a kiss and turns around and walks back to Nursery with her teacher-she doesn't even give me a second look. I just couldn't believe it! I got tears in my eyes, I was so proud of my little girl and so sad that she didn't need me. I turned to the ladies and said "Just as I suspected she isn't having a hard time with it but her mom is!" I'm such a baby but I can't believe how big my girl is, they grow way too fast! It was a great experience when I picked her up we went and washed her hands and when we came out of the bathroom she ran right back to the Nursery room, she wanted to go back! I know this may not happen every week but I am grateful she has done this good so far!

Having some pre-church lunch! Daddy and Blakers
She insisted on holding her bunnies and then this stinkin lint roller!
Oh well you do what you have to to get the picture.

What a cheese-ball!

March Madness!

So this is my 7th March Madness experience with Rob and this is the 1st time he has invited me to participate. He must REALLY be missing Barry :)! Anyway yesterday morning Rob said let's fill out brackets and play against each other the winner gets a 30min massage from the loser! Sounded fun to me, I have to be subjected to March Madness anyway so I might as well play along. So we both filled out brackets are here we are day 2 and I'm kinda kickin Rob's ass. Which is sad cause I make my picks purely off of team colors, names, and mascots! We will see how this goes. It should be exciting because we have the same 2 teams in the championship but i picked North Carolina to win and Rob picked Louisville. I'll keep you up to date although Im sure most of you quit reading the minute you read the words March and Madness!
Proud of our picks!

You probably can't see but Rob's Bracket has a lot more x's through it than mine!!

This is what our monster is doing while her mom and dad watch Bball! Yes she is IN the drawer of the entertainment center!

I'm Back in Buisness

We finally bought a new camera, yay! It arrived last Monday and I haven't put it down since. I am so grateful to have a camera again, Blakeley won't be touching this one for sure! Here is what we have been up to and all the fun pictures to go along with it...

The Best Babysitters Ever!

Macquire and Kale came to play with Blake for a few hours on Friday. They were angels, as usual, and they were so cute with Blakeley too. It was the easiest baby sitting I have ever done, it was like they were watching Blake for me because they entertained her the entire time. Then when she went down for a nap they just wanted to watch a movie with me! These kids are so sweet to each other and to my Blake. We took some silly pictures while they were here...

Silly faces, do you love Kale's booger!

My Smart Little Monster!

I can't take credit for this Blakeley taught herself! She loves this little shape toy that Gambel gave her. She will always bring it to me to open it and then I will show her where the shapes go. Well, a few weeks ago she brought it to me, so I opened it up for her, then she picked out the red circle and red oval to put in and started looking for where they went on her own, so i just watched...and sure enough she found the right shape, matched it up, and put them in! Where does she get this? She amazes me all the time I just think she is such a smartie, I'm a proud Mommy!

Blakeley's Re-Test

You may remember 6 months ago after Blake was in the hospital she had to go down to Primary Children's and have a VCUG and a Renal Ultrasound. The results 6mo ago of the Renal Ultrasound came back abnormal so she has been taking a low dose antibiotic for the last six months to prevent her from getting another bladder infection. So last Thursday it was finally time to repeat the test. So we loaded her up for the drive down. I was pretty nervous about what we may have to do if the problem was still there. I was anxious on the drive and we got behind in traffic and were running late so I was getting even more upset. We finally got there and they called her back for the ultrasound. Blakeley was not happy about what we were doing. It doesn't hurt to have one done, as all of you know who have been pregnant, but she was upset about it still. So I had to lay on the bed with her while she did it and in 5 min or so it was all over! The Radiologist came into read the results and we were so grateful to hear that her body had fixed itself and the ultrasound was normal this time. What a blessing this was for the problem to be corrected, we are so grateful! After we were done we walked around the first floor and saw all of the fun stuff they have there at Primary's. It is so hard to go to that hospital and see all the sick kids, it brings back memories of having Kade there too. I'm really glad that we have Primary Children's so close to help those who need it, but I don't love having to take my daughter there!

Then Jen and Andy had invited us to go with them to the Clearfield Aquatic Center that night so we thought that would be a great reward for Blakers having to have her test done. It was so fun, Blakeley loved it of course, she was a little fish. She went down the slides and she even went under the water a few times and she didn't even mind! It was a lot of fun here are some pics...
