Birthday/Stay-cation!

It was my Happy Birthday over Memorial Weekend so it was filled with lots of fun! We had our annual Costley Family Stay-cation that weekend too. For lunch on my Bday we went to Costa Vida and Fat Cats (cause apparently it was Blakeley's Bday) Just kidding, we really did go there but it was because she has the time of her life there so it makes it fun for everyone!! Here are some pictures of her at Fat Cats. She is crazy about the Merry Go Round, played a few other games, and was so excited that she got so many tickets cause they were "taller" than her!

We went to dinner at Pizzeria with my family and then kicked off the Stay-cation by celebrating my bday! Rob was the Ping Pong Champion this year!

That night we roasted marshmallows and made smores. The guys got up early on Saturday for a golf tourney and then we met them at Jeremiah's for breakfast! So so yummy!

We went swimming at the Clearfield Aquatic Center. Here are Joss and Blakes in their suits that Grannie Sheryl gave them for Easter!Blake waiting for the slide, she didn't want me to take the picture until she went down the slide, so she was mad and wouldn't smile...and Rob...he just likes to fuel the fire!!
She loves to slide with Dad!
The girls had a great time swimming! Blakeley spent most of her time in Josslyn's floaty. It was shaped like a Jet Ski and Blake thought is was lots of fun!!
The girls flew Balloon "Kites" it was kind of windy so the balloons didn't want to fly too high!

Blake doing a Memorial Day Tribute Dance for us.
The girls got to plant a pumpkin. They are going to help them grow and then they can have them to carve this Fall! I thought this was such a cute idea and Blakeley and Papa go out to water/check on them every time we go to my parents! Blakeley planted one for Townley too!

My parents have a cute little birds nest in their tree with baby birds in it. I love this picture of Blakeley checking it out!!

The Ogden Half!!

I didn't have a lot of feelings about marathons before now. To be honest I hated (and still hate) to run almost as bad and I hated constantly hearing about people running to prepare for these type of things. But I stand corrected, if you haven't ever seen people crossing the finish line at a marathon you really can't judge! It is such an amazing/emotional thing to witness. And this was only the HALF!
Anyway Rob did awesome he finished the Half which is 13.1 miles in 1:52! He did awesome and I was SO proud watching him finish. With Rob I find myself wondering if there is anything he can't do! Then I quickly remember he can't dance worth a crap :)! Here are some fun and some funny pics from the day. One small explanation first, I took these first pictures as an 8mo pregnant person, with Blakeley on my shoulders, my foot holding the stroller so it wouldn't roll away, camera in hand, and my heart beating out of my chest hoping I hadn't missed Rob running through the finish line! It was quite a sight. Thank heaven for Jena, she took the closer up pics of him that are below! Thanks Jens!

Ha Ha, Rob is in black about 5 people back!

Again on the Left :)

Jena's Pictures so much better thankfully!

Joe, Blakeley, Natalie, Rob, Andy, Deidre

Nat ran the 5K and Rob, Andy, and Deidre all ran the Half!

So this picture makes me laugh even harder than the crappy ones I took of Rob running! Rob looks like a 10yr old next to Andy or they look like they could be "Partners!"

Blakeley cheered so cute for her Daddy, So proud! We went to Park City with the Ortgiesen's later that day. We shopped, swam, and tried to stay up late playing games but that wasn't the greatest idea when the hubbies had ran 13 miles that morning! Oh well!
Addy, Blakes, and Charlee snugglin in bed!
3 darling little girls in their new outfits-they all wanted their hair in piggies too!
Blakeley pulls scary faces lately when you ask her to smile!

Riding on the luggage cart.
It was a fun and tiring weekend. I felt like I had ran a marathon after walking my pregnant -A- around the outlets all day. It was well worth it though, I found lots of cute things for Blakes and for baby Townley too!

Baby Animal Days!

April was very busy for me this year! We had a lot going on and every spare minute had to be spent on the Scraps Market so one Saturday my poor abandoned husband took Blake up to Baby Animal Days for a fun outing! He got some cute pictures of her and of course she loved it! That night she told me all about it and it made me so sad that I had missed such a fun experience for her! I am so grateful to Rob for taking the time to take her up there so that she could have such a blast! Enjoy the pictures...

Riding a Pony

Checking out the Bunnies

Holding the Baby Chick (her favorite thing!)
Laughing at the Chickens

Petting a baby Goat

The Hive (a sweet little botique)

This sweet little boutique is going on this Thursday and Friday at our fun friend Melissa's house! If you are looking for a fun outing you should check it out! Click HERE for more info on time and place! She lives in Mountain Green so we love to make a day of it and eat Taggart's Grill too!

Easter

Okay if you still care about Easter I am finally posting about it!! We had lots of Easter fun, Blakeley got to have 4 egg hunts and lots of fun with all of our families. We are blessed to have so many family members close by to celebrate with!

Saturday Hunt at the Brian's
Her Loot!!Sorry but she is darling, what a serious little face!!
Blake with Kale modeling one of their Easter prizes, swimsuits!!

Rob's mom also made Townley a darling blanket but the picture of me holding needs to be deleted (prego pictures are the worst) Janet is such a sweetheart it has to be mentioned!!
Janet told the story of The Resurrection and the real reason we celebrate Easter. It was so cute and I loved watching Blakeley's face as she was taking it all in! She told me after how she had learned about Jesus and I was so proud. Jan gave us each a copy of the picture story and Blake has loved having it so we can re-tell the story!
That night we colored Eggs with my mom while the boys went to the Priesthood session. Blakeley colored the eggs, herself, and my mom's counter!!
Easter Morning! She gets that beautiful bed head from her Dad, don't ask me how someone without much hair (Robert) can still have serious bed head...good genes I guess!

Stoked about her bubble wand and other fun toys that it was too dang cold to go outside and play with!
Painting mommy's nails with her new polish. Not sure the Easter Bunny had that in mind when choosing the nail polish for her basket. Wink, wink!
Lily and Blakeley sweetest little cousins waiting so patiently for the hunt at Gr Hales' to begin! There were lots of hunters but plenty of eggs!

Joss and Blake
The grand and great grand kids with Gr Hales' notice how all of the baskets are overflowing with eggs, no one was hurting for treats at this hunt!!
One more fun hunt! Blake, Kade, and Joss ready to find the baskets at the Costley's.
Kade is the dedicated helper of the kids to hunt down their baskets!
Spoiled kids: Blake, Joss, and even Townley got a basket!

She finally got to play outside with her bubble wand! Such a cute prize, she loved it!!
We played a fun game of Easter Pictionary and Blakeley even took a turn drawing! It was such a busy day but it is always so much fun to be surrounded by those you love on a Holiday!
